Up for some lawsuit news? This time it's a guy that bought a games used and was then shocked to find that he couldn't download the free downloadable content advertised on the box.

A lawsuit was filed this week by a California man claiming that GameStop's used game sales were "deceptively misleading" because the boxes the games came in still advertised downloadable content for the game. The downloadable content is only available to those that purchase games new, however, because the game's come with a code inside that can only be used once.

He's going to be losing a ton of money on legal fees, so don't even bother feeling sorry for him.

I haven't read this article, but I will say this. The way GameStop handles used games in both trade-in and used game prices is downright criminal. The fact that people actually sell their games to this store blows my *bleep*ing mind. It's worse than highway robbery.

If people voted with their wallets (and their used games) then they'd be forced to change their act. It kills me that people don't realize if they want something to change, they have to stop doing things the way they currently are.

It's similar to the gas situation. Find another way to get to work and school, stop paying for gas and they will drop their prices.

Supply and demand! It works both ways! We too have power.

This isn't about Gamestop being the wallet rapists that they're known to be. It's about download content that comes with the game if bought new, but the guy bought used and expected to get anyway.

$55 used for a $60 new game is just ridiculous.

Which is why I said I didn't read it, I was just using this as a means to express my own opinion of the way GameStop chooses to do business.

Ruled: 100% on the *bleep*ing money. People think by simply expressing their distain against something that it will change it. Take Man Utd supporters going to Old Trafford wearing Newton Heath scarfs for example. Sure, they're showing they dont like the prices of tickets to get into Old Trafford but they're still there aren't they?

The back of the game box clearly states "One time use code available with full retail purchase". He can't blame GameStop for his inability to read fine print and failing to exercise common sense in that a one time code would already have been used in a used game.

The only thing Gamestop should be sued for is their criminal used game prices

Is it me or did Mass Effect used $15 just suddenly raised up to $30??

Because at my Gamestop all the mass effects had this new $30 price tag. Their....raising the prices now?

Damn you gamestop. When I saw the article title I said "oh sweet finally someone is doing something about GS" to bad the person did it on the most retarded reason ever =/
