An Activision Staff Member confirmed that Infinity Ward will continue developing Call of Duty titles. The Activision Staff Member, however, did not state whether Infinity Ward's next game would be Modern Warfare 3 or whether it will be released in 2011.

Activision revealed earlier this year that newly-formed Sledgehammer Games will develop a spin-off Call of Duty title, rumored to be a third-person shooter. When asked if it was possible two Call of Duty titles could be released in 2011 and if the company was worried about diluting the market, Tippl wouldn't clarify, only saying that Activision has set high standards for its titles.
