Halo 3 has outsold Six Playstation 3 Exclusives

Microsfots Aaron Greenberg tweeted today that "Just in from research team (NPD): Halo 3 has outsold Resistance 1 + 2, Uncharted 1+2, Killzone 2 and God of War III COMBINED....wow" So there you have it, Halo 3 has outsold six of Sony's major exclusives, which is actually very impressive.

It's worth noting that Halo 3's release predated all of the Sony exclusives it reportedly outsold, with the exception of Resistance: Fall of Man. Even Uncharted: Among Thieves didn't hit the streets until two months after the final chapter in Master Chief's trilogy. However, neither of those factors makes Greenberg's claim any less impressive.

      I beg to differ. It's just as shit as most the others. The only 360 game I find even remotely appealing is Mass Effect 2

      ^ This. I personally only like the original Halo, Halo 3 online was half-decent, but it is still a great accomplishment.

      Deception, nobody's using it as some sort of "360 is better than PS3 hahahaha" so shut your mouth and take your dick out of your Playstation. Your comments are an embarrassment.

        Wow wait. I never said anywhere that the 360 is bad. I just said that the only game that I find appealing is Mass Effect 2. Heh, people these day. Not even allowed to have my own taste in videogames.

    Not surprised. Halo was the thing to buy when you sucked at other, more complex shooters. Every screaming pre-teen that owned a 360 has the game. It's a game that every 360 owner feels they should own, like every Wii owner needs the newest game in the Mario/Zelda series.

      Not to mention the bloody game was bundled with so many 360s at one point.

      I don't care how many it sold; none of my friends pay it anymore, and tbh it's a very simple uninspired game.
