They've done it again: Red Dead: Redemption has again fought off competition from its rivals to top the UK charts. The Western repeated last week's chart performance by fighting off a plumber and football to nab the top spot for a fifth consecutive victory.

The top three is the same as last week, with Super Mario Galaxy 2 in second and 2010 FIFA World Cup at third. The fourth and fifth placed games swapped positions, with Just Dance reaching fourth and Rooms: The Main Building falling slightly to fifth. Modern Warfare 2 gained a bit of ground to rise from seventh to sixth, while Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands jumped from twelfth to seventh, Wii Fit Plus dropped from sixth to eighth and Blur moved from eleventh to ninth. Wii Sports Resort was tenth, again.

There were two new entries, the first of which was International Cricket 2010 which entered at 12th. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, released relatively late in the week, debuted at 18th. Bioshock 2 re-entered the top 40 at 23rd, along with Pure Football at 28th. Need For Speed: Shift just made a re-entry at 40th.
