Was it the money? Was it a misunderstanding? Or was it simply a case of 'My dog ate the PS3 trailer?' No-one really knows, but according to Sony, they sent a request, but no-one replied.

Although SCEA President says there is nothing wrong between Sony and Rockstar, and that they are still working with each other on various other exclusives for PS3, one can only wonder whether it is but an elaborate cover up for souring relations.

Microsoft made such a song and dance over GTAIV in their E3 presentation you could almost have called it a hootenanny. Yet Sony didn't show a thing. Odd. If you were wondering why this was the case, put it down to Rockstar.

    Sure you do ^^

It seems sad to hear they never got back to it but I bet in the next week they will give it to them. You never know they just might not have finished it as they want to add even more to it ^^

This is pathetic and lazy. They just didn't feel like it? Everyone was expecting it. Jeez, how does Rockstar expect to keep fans with this kind of attitude? And Sony was saying how they aren't worried, how they had a good relationship with Rockstar. Unbelievable <_<

To be honest, does it really matter - they would probably have ended up playing exactly the same footage anyways ^^

Up until recently, Grand Theft Auto has been a Sony exclusive, Rockstar could just be trying to please their new market, who knows ... But we're all going to end up getting the same game anyways ... (( However I reckon Rockstar will make more features to the PS3 version later on ^^ ))

Rockstar is lazy in my opinion and stupid.

By sending that trailer it would have gotten people excited or even would've gotten them new fans.

Sony must be bitter about this. They had to bite their tongue as BOXers stuck theirs out

So Sony got rejected? I think Rockstar should've sent them one. It'd ad more hype and talk.

Wasn't there something about Rockstar disliking Sony for something about Manhunt 2. Not supporting them or something? Is this payback? Hah, bad payback.

This is retarded, it makes it seem like Rockstar and Sony are in a relationship. Like Rockstar is being the unreasonable girlfriend or something and not picking up Sony's phone calls. Who gives a *bleep*. These are game companies.

I dunno.. If a company refused to allow the release of a multi-million dollar AAA game that took 3 years to make, I'd be super-pissed. I'm not Rockstar, though.
