Split/Second Developer In Trouble?

Sad news for fans of Black Rock Studios, the developers behind Disney Interactive's Split/Second and Pure. The company is going through layoffs, and the developer's fate is currently unknown. Sad face.

    Jeez, first Blur's dev and now Split/Second's? Other devs that made racing games in 2010 better watch out

    Also, is Black Rock the same dev who does the Skate series? I seem to remember they having something black in the name as well.
