It's the end of a week which saw a slew of retailers cut the online price of the 3DS below £200.

Nintendo's decision not to set a price for the console has presented retailers with the chance to set their own, and that in turn has produced a drawn-out price war. GAME, Toys R Us, Amazon, Gamestation and HMV have all cut the online price of the console to £196.99.

And with just under a month to go before the console's release and demo units already arriving in shops, the price war is probably far from over yet.
