It's a slow sales week in Japan this week, with the top selling game only selling 33k units, and the tenth rank game selling 15k. The top seller this week is a new release, Seaman 2 for the PS2, selling the aforementioned 33k units. Following it is a DS non-game, the quite nifty DS Literature Collection with 32k units sold. Rounding out the top five is the PS2 version of Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! Meteor (PS2 - 20k), last week's #1 DS Nishimura Kyotarou Suspense Detective Series: Deadly Intent (NDS - 20k) and Gundam Battle Chronicle (PSP - 19k)

In terms of hardware numbers, according to JoshuaJSlone at NeoGAF, with this week, the PSP LTD is now not tripled by the DS' LTD. The PS3 also sees an increase in sales with the 20GB and 60GB version seeing a price drop The 20GB now retails for 44,980 JPY (383 USD) and the 60GB now 54,980 JPY (469 USD). The white 40GB PS3 will not release until November 11th. Wii sales have also increased to 25k this week. Super Mario Galaxy releases in Japan on November 1st. The GBA also reappears on Media Create's list.

Notables:
DBZ Sparking Meteor! (PS2), Gundam Battle Chronicle (PSP) and both Pokémon Mysterious Dungeons (NDS) continue to be in the Top 10.
Beautiful Katamari (360) breaks Top 10 at #7 with 19k sold.
Crisis Core: FFVII (PSP) continues descent, now #18.
Lair (PS3) falls to #21 after being #7 last week.
Archaic Sealed Heat (DS) falls to #26 after being #8 last week.
Spiderman 3 shows up twice, at #35 (PS3) and #43 (PS2)
There is a game called Fashionable Puppy DS. (#48)
Halo 3 (360) is out of the Top 50 after being #48 last week.
