Well, compared to the October NPD numbers are way up, with all hardware sales at the very least doubling for every system. Factors such as the holday shopping season and Black Friday account for the gigantic increase in sales.
This Month - Last Month: +/-
PS2: 496k - 184k: +312k
PS3: 466k - 121k: +345k
PSP: 567k - 286k: +281k
360: 770k - 366k: +404k
WII: 981k - 519k: +462k
NDS: 1.53m - 458k: +1.072m
Looking at hardware, the numbers for the Nintendo DS and Wii are mindnumbing. In just a four week period, the DS has sold 1.53 million units in the United States, while the Wii has sold almost a million, at 981k. The 360 seems to backing Microsoft's Black Friday successes, with 770k units sold. The PlayStation family is holding serve around 500k units.
As for the Top 10 SKUs, Call of Duty 4 combined sold 2.014 million units, with the 360 version pushing 1.57 million copies. In second is Super Mario Galaxy with 1.12 million. Assassin's Creed combined sold 1.317 million units. Mass Effect sold 473k copies. Wii Play and Halo 3 both remain in the top 10, and the only two Guitar Hero III versions in the top 10 are the PS2 version and the Wii version.

Im not worried about the PS3, i agree with Silver here.
I'm not surprised with the DS and it selling like crazy. There are many quality, fun games for it.
And dang, why'd they have to sell the PS3 at high prices.. I'm not getting one.. Wish I could though..
I've been trying to get my hands on a black DS lite, but to no avail. ._.
