For whatever reason, Blockbuster hasn't thought it'd be a good idea to offer rentals for one of the more successful systems out there today, the DS. In any case, they've changed their minds and from now on, you'll be able to try out the latest at nationwide outlets.

BLOCKBUSTER also plans on increasing the variety of game titles available to rent, and will be introducing Nintendo DS game rentals at BLOCKBUSTER locations nation-wide. You will also be able to purchase Nintendo DS games, hardware and accessories later this year.

I was surprised when I went to Blockbuster only to find out that they didn't have DS games >_> I always wondered why they had everything else but DS games for rent, but it's good to hear they are adding them in.

I guess DS games didn't sell quite as much as the rest did which is why they took them down. glad they're adding them back on stock.

Are you sure? I thought DS games were sold like hot cakes. Oh, well. Maybe I was wrong.

If memory serves right, yeah they did. they were on stock 3/4 years ago i think. that's a long time they went without selling DS games.

Umm...no, they had GBA games out on shelves 3/4 years ago. But they have had the DS games, which are a huge hit, out at my local Blockbuster for about 3 months now.
