Voice-actress Yuna Inamura, known for her voice work in anime like "SoltyRei" and "Darker than Black", was recently interviewed by Famitsu about life, her latest work, and a funny little 360 mascot by the name of "Xbo-Kun" that she invented to "spread the fun of Xbox 360 games to people all over the world".
It's great that there are Japanese celebrities out there trying their best to support the 360, despite it's not-so-good sales in Japan.

The unintentionally hilarious part isn't anything she says in the interview. Oh, no. It's the picture she drew for Famitsu.com. The name of the "new" character is "Xbo-Kun".

Says Inamura: "I went with this name, because everyone playing games becomes a million dollars worth of smiling faces. It's the duty of Ekubo-kun the entertainer to spread the fun of Xbox 360 games to people all over the world."

Yep, there goes Xbo-kun, spreading fun all over the world to a million dollars of smiling faces with his little red shoes and his little Red Ring of Death nose. Just adorable.

Why they made the nose an RRoD is beyond me...

I like how they say "celebrities are supporting..." when it's just her.

That's actually a full Red Ring wich means that the AV cable is loose. Which makes sense because it's ummm....err dancing on the earth.

Lol, "Xbo-Kun is here to tell you to plug your goddamn AV cable back in!!!"

Though I hope to dear God that some of you aren't actually going to get a console just because some foreign lady tells you to. If she were sponsoring PS3, I bet most of you would feel otherwise.

She's really pretty. If I didn't have an Xbox already, I'd go get one right away.

She is nice looking, but I don't believe she'll sway me to buy the console, even though im going to get it anyway at some point.

This sexually attractive Asian Woman may be enough to make me get a 360.

Too bad Xbo-Kun has RRoD. A 360 with RRoD cannot spread joy of any form.
