Reggie Fils-Aime, President for Nintendo America, was engaged in an interview with humble concerns towards the new Nintendo DSi. Major worries resided in the fact that the DSi may be region locked, while to a lesser extent with the music playing capabilities.
The DSi was announced to have the ability to download applications and games through the internet, leading to the question of whether the DSi will be region locked. When asked, the President could only reply that he didn't know, although he feels it will be.
Further more, the question was brought up if the DSi would support probably the most common type of music files, MP3. This he could answer, saying they would not be supported and that only AAC format files will work.
