The Agency Still Alive. Interview about the game with SOE

Did you forget all about this game? Well don't anymore, the game is still alive and it is still in production. In an interview with SOE they talk about the game, how the development is going, and what they want to achieve. The Agency is a massive MMO with a FPS/spy agent style gameplay that is set to come out on the PC and PS3 for free online.

Hal Milton: No, no, we're not canceled. We have actually changed focus completely, though. We're now making a "Kitt Kittredge: live the life of an elite spunky pioneer girl" series. I think it's a great change for the product, I think our Eastern European assets will work well as assets for new colonial America. I think people will appreciate the change, we've had to make gambling games into more Thanksgiving hunter-gatherer experiences but other than that everything is the same.

    Sounds like they're still ways away from any release. We're probably looking at another year or so before release. Doesn't really matter; it's not really hyped, so they can take as long as they want.

    I have a hard time trusting SOE with anything after they *bleep*ed up Star Wars Galaxies so much...

      I was a Sunrunner smuggler of some infamy, so I feel your pain.
      I will check out the new Hoth content though... most likely at a friends house. Not worth subscribing for a month...

        I had over 100 Jedi kills on my Bounty Hunter, #1 on my server. (Bloodfin) Then one day I log in and 95% of the players are Jedi..

        I'll hold out on the reviews for this one, but I'm really not holding my breath.

    Question: Was The Agency really announced on the PC? Either my memory is failing me, or I don't recall it being announced. Not like there's a problem, its just I really can't remember.

      It was announced on the PC the same time it was announced on the ps3.

        Don't remember that tbh. I remember hearing it was PS3 exclusive but that's it.

          You can play against or with PS3 players from a PC.
