In a recent interview with complex.com, Soulja Boy revealed that he will be getting his own game for the Xbox 360. Go to the source for the full interview ...

Complex: You’re also big into video games. What are your favorites right now?

Soulja Boy: We’re on our tour bus we got the Gears of War 2 running everyday all day. Grand Theft Auto 4, Call of Duty, and Madden.

Complex: Would you ever want your own video game?

Soulja Boy: I’m glad that you brought that up. Soulja Boy video game is coming for Xbox 360 in 2009. After I put the Xbox 360 challenge up on the Internet, it was over all these video game sites. And a couple video game companies hit me up on my email because I put the email on there too. And hit me up like, “Blah, blah, blah, blah.” So I was like, “Oh snaps!” So I forwarded to my management, and they forwarded to my label. And now we’re doing the video game. It was the same way I got signed for my music. It’s like history repeating itself, but instead of music this time it’s about video games.

Holy shi...I really don't see where he gets his ego or his contracts from. All he did was sing one song, which happened to be mediocre at best.

See? This is what happens when you allow Fiddy Cent to get his own game...all of the idiots follow in his footsteps.

Well if 360 is still alive after this disaster hits the shelves then I shall truly bow down before the one that shall forever be known as Bill "Satan" Gates

Cant wait to record and put you on youtube wen you bow down. Anyway i like the song "Crank dat", and the song has some popularity on the net, but still, why the hell would they make a game about Soulja Boy? I dont understand. "Shaq-Fu" anyone, remember that pathetic excuse for a game?

Why, in the picture, is he doing the whole grill smile (the smile done to show off a, how do you say, 'pimpin' grill) when he isn't even wearing a frikkin' grill?

The only remotely positive aspect about this game is the prospect of playing as King Spaz and repeatedly dying on purpose. Although, I suppose it may lead to 50 Pence paying someone to 'buss a cap' in Spazboy's face, eliminating competition and whatnot. It'll never happen... but a boy can dream.

And didn't you see how everyone turned into their real selves and starts flaming him and making themselves look like utter tools?

You know what, I can't wait for this game. It can't be any worse then what the Wii produces on a daily basis. And who knows, this title may actually be fun. Well imo this game can't be any worse then these games.

No, trashing a guy for having fun on youtube saying he kickass online, when his gamerscore is very low, his friends claim he isn't that good, and overall joking yet people trash him saying he's an idiot, really shows how much of a tool most people are.

Storm you know me, I'm probably the most realistic person here, who sometimes can't get people's sarcasm but when I point out he's just doing this for laughs and haha's, and you taking it seriously, most of you, then it becomes apparent some people have issues. As I said on the last few articles about him, It's Ironic how I'm the only one who see's the joke.

Its the *bleep*ing internet, don't take anything seriously right? Especially on a youtube video when there's at least 3 things that proves he's joking around.
        • 1
          Storm Dec 10, 08
You're defending Soulja Boy? Why? What's in it for you? This upcoming terrible game?

At least give a reason as to why you think he's worth defending. I can't find anything particularly 'great' about him. He brags on youtube, shows off his stuff, stuff we don't have...you seriously think all he's doing is joking around? Just mindless fun? So showing us how rich he is, that's just innocent fun? Right...I mean, did you even read the interview? He talks about how companies like Nike send him things. Come on. -_- No need to brag, we get his famous, but braggers are annoying.

Sure it's just the Internet, but there's fun, and then there's bs.

Oh and by the way, gamerscore means nothing. It's just to show who's more more addicted to games or who just likes replayability, heh.

storm. did you not see the question they asked him on the subject? he talks about how the other dude is showing off the same shit that the company sends to him.

this kid is one of the most down to earth dudes in the mainstream music industry. he isn't just bragging about shit for no reason, and he isn't being narcissistic. i mean, how insecure are you that somebody talking about his endorsements makes you not like him? these were the questions the interviewer was asking him, and he answered them how pretty much anyone else would.

OMG HE SAID HE IS BETTER AT A VIDEO GAME THAN ME I DO NOT *bleep*ING LIKE THIS GUY. give me a break.
        • 0
          Storm Dec 11, 08
Huh, I didn't see the second portion of that question, where complex goes: 'I see...' Sorry aout that, but yeah that's easy to miss.

It's not his endorsements that make me not like him, I was more talking about his youtube videos, like him showing off all his games and huge TV. That had nothing to do with competing with Bow-Wow. It's like those 'millionaire' shows...I hate them, and envy them.

That, and I don't like any of his songs (listened to 5-6 of them, but never got into it).

Not to fear people. Who would honestly buy this in the face of greater games such a GOW2, Left 4 Dead, Sins of a Solar Empire, Mirror's Edge, etc etc? For everyone involved in the game, it's going to be a waste of time and a waste of money. The real question is, what the hell will the achievements be like? Cause I get a feeling achievements would have to be replaced with "failures".

Sigh. Try Jurassic 5, Notorious B.I.G., Saul Williams, k-os, Blackalicious, One Day As A Lion, Public Enemy, Geto Boys, Common, Mos Def, De la Soul, Westside Connection, 2Pac, Eminem, Mathematik, Kool Keith, Gil Scott-Heron, Handsome Boy Modeling School, M.I.A., Tricky, Massive Attack, N*E*R*D, Outkast, and The Roots (to name a few).

Just because the powers that be feed you stupid music to keep you stupid and buying more product doesn't mean everything is bad, unsubstanstial, or soulless.

I don't see why everyone hates this guy. Sure, his music isn't to everyone's taste (I'm not a fan), but he really isn't that offensive in any of his interviews or videos. All he is doing is providing entertainment.
    • 1
      Gamesta100 Dec 10, 08
Watching paint dry would be more entertaining than he is
    • 2
      ShadowJ Dec 10, 08
You don't have to be offensive to be hated.

The guy is just downright annoying and started two of the annoying crazes that could be considered more annoying than actual 4chan meme's...First is the "superman dance" and second is screaming "YAHHHHHH" like a derranged battlecry

That is why people hate him, among other things, the way he acts, the way he dresses...generally I think he is just one of those guys that was born to be hated and what better way than doing it in the spotlight.

Personally I just hate the songs (unless Travis Parker messes with every song like he did for Never Back Down's soundtrack)
      • 0
        Final Blade Dec 10, 08
So, you hate his songs yet you're going to hate on someone who you don't know personally, who jokes around and as Xenctuary says is doing this for entertainment purposes? See this is what I mean, some of you guys are really proving how much people should dislike you as well. Fair enough you hate his Songs, I hate Plenty of bands and groups songs, but I don't trash them do I?

Some of you are just jumping on the bandwaggon on hating someone, even going as far to hate him for his style of clothing and how he wears his hat, which isn't a good reason to hate someone. Hating someone in general is bad.

FB, has a bee gotten under your bonnet recently?

People hate on those they don't know everyday. Funny thing is though...when it comes to celebrities, people worship them like idols, they believe everything they do and when the are seen as human beings, people are in shock and deny it, stating the press make it up.

Yet when someone openly states they hate a celebrity, they are chased by a lynch mob, sentenced to death and hung in mere seconds.

The kid doesn't care whether he is hated or loved, he has money, he has fame (whether good or bad) and more importantly HE GETS WHAT HE WANTS BECAUSE OF ALL OF THIS

My point? I dislike egos, I dislike people who throw their fame and fortune in my face. Though I really can't get over how amusing this all is FB...everyday normal working people and school children are hated for many reasons, the colour of their skin, what they wear, what they look like, what they like and dislike.

Everyday normal people are picked on, bullied...even killed because they are different and yet as soon as bad words are spoken towards someone who is in the spotlight...happy to get any kind of attention whether good or bad...they are defended.

Like I said, he is annoying and I hate his songs...my own opinion that has the agreement of many others...no bandwagon.

I don't like him because he is getting a game based on his image, Which without looking will no doubt be violence and probably gun based and no doubt will be just a terrible licensed mulitplatform game, Just on account of the fact he has a few popular songs.

This game is just here to make money, Not for anyone to actually enjoy once they buy it. 50 cent proved that.
