Rockstar Leeds president Gordon Hall, has given Nintendo Power a nice quote that I have no doubts people will consider some kind of jab at the PSP version of GTA, calling Chinatown Wars the biggest of the handheld versions.

Chinatown Wars is much bigger than anything we have ever done before [in terms of scope]: more odd jobs, deeper missions, and more moments of over-the-top action. We have a huge interaction with the Rockstar Social Club, a massive [narcotics trafficking] game that would stand alone on its own. The list goes on and on; this thing is huge. We are very proud of all of the PSP games we have made, especially the two GTA games, but this game is far bigger.

    I call load of crap. DS can't outperform the PSP, so any 1-uppings the DS version claims to have over any PSP version is the result of a complete failure on Rockstar's end to produce a quality product, twice. That's not including the two PS2 ports either.

      Wooooooooooooooow, Fanboy...SERIOUSLY.

      You just got handed the facts and STILL call crap?

      You must be upset that the DS version is superior, do you want a tissue?

      This is great news, just means more of a reason for me to pick this up when its released.

        Sometimes you just know things will lure in a console war type discussion, but I didn't know it would come with the first post, nice job Rajin1999! lol, good times.

        Anyways, I always heard good things about the PSP GTA's, were they really not quality products?

    The PSP's got 2 GTAs. [/fanboy]
    Anyway, the problem about this game is the view. This so called isometric view is just not suitable for a GTA game.
    And also, I'm a bit skeptical here seeing as the PSP GTAs were both above 1 gb. The DS cartridge can hold only 256 mb. Some aspects of the game would have to suffer for that.

      *every aspect of the game is going to suffer from that.

      anyway i'll probably look into this game when i get a new ds in a few months. :}

      tecnically the GTA series did start out on this isometric view, so just think of it as going back to basics

    This may either be a great step for the DS or a complete and utter *bleep* up.

    I doubt DS is better than the PSP (then later PS2) GTA games.
    Dwg, GTA started out top-down, not isometric.
