An interview with Cliff B. about Epic's most recent game Gears of War 2. Too bad there isn't any questions about Gears 2 online play and problems, would've been nice to hear something from the man in charge.

1UP: So the part where Dom finally finds his wife, Maria, and then blows her away -- what the hell was that all about? A few square meals, a haircut, maybe some cosmetic dentistry, and she would've been well on the way to recovery!

CB: It's not that simple. The Locust were capturing and torturing people to the point where they break. The final step in this grueling process was to lobotomize their prisoners, and it's a one-way trip. Dom did the only humane thing he could do. There was nothing in Maria's eyes -- not a glimmer of recognition, not an ounce of hope. She was already dead.
