Don't Be A Genre Snob

In an impromptu interview with Jack Thompson took place at Blend Games. They talk drugs, nuclear fission and video games. Part of it does make you think about gaming slightly different based on the discussion. Some of it is very below the belt, though.
As quoted by Thompson to Blend Games' Editor Pete Haas, "The recent finding is that gamers ingest more drugs than others, and it appears you prove the point."
Jack Thompson: The vast majority of all video games are nothing but time wasters, mental stimulation for no reason other than stimlation. My generation actually thinks we ought to spend our time helping people or building something. Your generation likes to waste its time doing nothing. How sad.

True, video games are time wasters, that I will give him but what about those that commit crimes, that go and sign on at the dole office and then waste it down the pub 5 minutes later Jack?
There are a lot worse things in life that waste time yet ironically enough they are the exact same things that fund the government and keep money pouring into pockets of drones such as Jack Thompson that have nothing better but to waste my time with spouting crap.
Jack Thompson thinks video games are time wasters
I think Jack Thompson is just a waster ¬_¬
And that's a bad thing?
This man really really just annoys the flying freck out of me.
Apparently Jack doesn't like being entertained. Ever. He would rather build something or help people than be entertained. Except for the fact that he hasn't built anything or helped anyone but himself. His life must be really boring. No wonder he is so aggressive.
I would expect this kind of thing to happen with Bill O'Reilly or anyone else on Fox News, but this is a new low, even for him.
And he is full of crap. His generation doesn't help anyone. If his generation were so damn helpful then why are there so many problems left unsolved in the world?
Just like fanboys
Okay so he probably won't end up reading it, but I just felt that it had to be said. Sick of hearing about this stuff really.
It was once laughable.
Now its creepy.
GOTY to whatever game features his death.
