Marvelous, the publisher of the popular Wii title No More Heroes, are hoping to work with more "hardcore" consoles in future. Apparently the Wii, DS and PSP just ain't cutting it.

"To be honest, we always wanted to make a game on the hardcore platforms, but at that time, there wasn't enough money or skill," company president Yasuhiro Wada revealed.

Marvelous, publisher of Wii's wunderbar No More Heroes (and its upcoming sequel) in Japan, is hoping to make a move onto Xbox 360 and PS3.

"To be honest, we always wanted to make a game on the hardcore platforms, but at that time, there wasn't enough money or skill. But now, I think we're at the point where we can actually go into it and start thinking that we can actually do it," Wada said. Marvelous' titles to date have been on Wii, DS and PSP.

I'm all for this. For a company that is all about style, I think a more powerful console would suit them well.

Just hope they don't change their style like some companies do when introduced to a new platform.

EDITED: I mean let's hope they don't change from being all about style, to not being all about style.

It doesn't need to state that No More Heros is still coming to Wii because not everyone is an idiot.

I'm sure the No More Heros developer is still interesting in making Wii games.

Saw this coming >_> A hardcore game developer can only last so long on the Wii before needing its money from one of the hardcore next gen consoles.

Would be cool to see a 360/PS3 No More Heroes, but i can see them making a totally different game and just leaving No More Heroes on Nintendo.

    LOL.
if i could spell out LOL any more clearly - i would.

i love how everyone was citing no more heroes against people when they said 'the wii isnt for hardcore gamers' and now the guy behind that same title just basically said 'the wii isnt for hardcore gamers'. laugh it up, boys.
