So basically we've all heard about Nintendo releasing the Nintendo DSi soon and well, when is it's released date? It has been confirmed for the Spring. There might be a slight knotch, though as they change there.

As far as seen here in the interview, Matsushima has released to the world saying that the DSi will carry a menu similiar to the Wii (or not).

Many props to the DSi as far as we can tell, will be one of the best handheld systems that will carry on with Media Life. Camera with SD Card Slot.

What we would probably call it is "WiiMini" since, its just going to be a Wii with a touch-screen and holding it in your hands.

". . . users can choose what they want . . ." - Matsushima from Nintendo

The DSi is going to be great. I'm going to trade in my DS Lite for it. ^^

The DSi is just catering more to the casual gamers and those who don't mind going without homebrew. There are some of us that enjoy running Linux on our DS Lites thanks to flash cards.

And I think we are going to have DSi Homebrew because of the SD Card Slot. Same thing that happened to the Wii just goes to say this one will happen the same thing. Especially the Homebrew Team (Tweezers or whatever) are bought Japanese-Region DSis to start experimenting. That is one huge fight Nintendo has.
