Q) What do you see as the next 'big thing' in PC audio?

A) I think when you look at the PC and Console gaming industry. You’re really looking at the future of mass entertainment. Games outsold DVD’s in the holiday quarter of last year. So the mass market is really starting to embrace interactive entertainment on a much larger level. Gaming is no longer limited to a select few running the most powerful machines. Games like WoW cross all types of demographic lines and have people interacting and embracing in-game and out of game VOIP solutions. More and more people are moving to using VOIP solutions, even if they are in-game voice engines…it’s still VOIP. So headset technology is definitely an area for improvement. Right now most people using headsets are using really low-end tech in their headsets. MMO’s and team based gaming is driving huge growth in this segment, but the average user isn’t really using...
