You, like me, were probably very excited when the 'Trico' trailer leaked all over the Internet a few weeks before E3. Well, Fumito Ueda was actually saw it as a nightmare. He said he was working very hard to prepare it for E3, only to have an early concept leaked. He put a lot of effort in creating 'Trico' creature, and his inspiration was a cat that he bought when starting on the game. He continues on to talk a lot about the PS3, fan reactions to the trailer, and more about his cat.

The creator of Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and forthcoming Last Guardian got a cat when he started making his new game. He talked to Kotaku about feline inspiration, a recent nightmare and how to make his games more emotional.
