In Game Informer's month of continuing coverage on Disney's upcoming Wii title Disney Epic Mickey, they were able to sit down with Junction Point Studios' head honcho and project director Warren Spector.
In the interview, Spector goes in-depth of the significance of Mickey Mouse, and what he can do to revitalize the character. Naturally, he also talks more about the themes and concepts behind Disney Epic Mickey, from the main mechanic of paint and thinner to the game's Wasteland setting, to the inclusion of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and the Phantom Blot. Also included in the discussion are why the Wii was chosen for this project, his personal goals for Disney Epic Mickey, and what would make the game a success for him.
Oh, and the man wants to make a Duck Tales game too. Please make it happen.
