They didn't ask what I wanted to know - have they started on the sequel to last years PoP?

Same here. But I'm going to take a shot in the dark here and say "No"

"The Prince from The Forgotten Sands is the same one that players controlled in Sands of Time, Warrior Within and The Two Thrones, and its story is unrelated to the film"

Sweet. I'm really looking forward to this. The PoP games are one of my favorite of all time.

I'd much rather a sequel to POP 08.

I consider the Sands of Time trilogy as the best series from the last-gen consoles, but I don't want to see them milking it with an unnecessary filer game. They didn't even leave any unanswered questions in the original series. They're just making up extra crap to profit from the film release.

The sad thing is, as much as I hate this idea, I'll still buy it because I love the POP gamplay style. No matter how pointless the added story is.

PoP is the perfect series for a crapload of sequels, because nothing that happens...actually happens. xD Just...think about that for a sec.
