Following the announcement of new gameplay details and the host formats for the forthcoming Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands earlier today, Ubisoft has release a questions and answer session (Q&A) with the game’s producer, Graeme Jennings. Set for release in May 2010 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable (PSP), Wii, Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DS, and Windows-based PC, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is set to fill-in the story between Prince of Persia: Sands of Time and Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.

Sweet. I'm really looking forward to this. The PoP games are one of my favorite of all time.
I consider the Sands of Time trilogy as the best series from the last-gen consoles, but I don't want to see them milking it with an unnecessary filer game. They didn't even leave any unanswered questions in the original series. They're just making up extra crap to profit from the film release.
The sad thing is, as much as I hate this idea, I'll still buy it because I love the POP gamplay style. No matter how pointless the added story is.
