Steven Hopper interviewed John Hight of Sony Santa Monica regarding God of War 3 on a variety of topics including: topping the sequels, keeping Kratos alive after the third title in the series, where the franchise will go and much more.

I think it would be interesting for us to explore some kind of cooperative or online play. I have a 14-year-old son, and we love playing games together, so it would be fun to do this. He’s had the benefit of watching some of the segments of God of War 3 with me; obviously the sex mini-game is off limits, and some of the more violent scenes. But it’s fun to play games together and I wouldn’t mind seeing that. I’m not confining our team and saying “Hey, you have to do this.”

I think "Grills" is the wrong word. If he was grilling the guy, he'd be criticizing. It doesn't seem like he's criticizing him, so...yeah.

That's a pretty cool interview, it was interesting to hear about how God Of War II was nearly a PS3 title, and the fact that they're hoping to keep the franchise going, although ending Kratos' tale.

I will miss Kratos but hopefully whatever they do with the series next will be just as cool.
