Following the release of a DLC pack for the hit-FPS Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Battlefield series developer DICE made the claim that they will never charge for their DLC. The Modern Warfare 2 pack, which just recently released, cost a couple of bucks while the recent DLC for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 was completely free.

      They did. And DICE can promise what they want, but in the end, Microsoft decides the price for DLC posted on their marketplace.

    Honestly, I love DICE's attitude to Infinity Ward's stuff. And this is coming from the Modern Warfare 2 forum moderator.

    • Infinity Ward says they won't have dedicated servers, DICE announces they will.
    • Infinity Ward charges $15 for a map pack, DICE says they'll never charge customers.

    Touché, DICE PR people. Touché, indeed.

    If they intend on adding achievements then they won't be able to give it to us for free
