Starcraft 2 on console is 'a possibility', says Blizzard

This interview with the lead designer of Starcraft 2 and CVG suppose to port the anticipated and upcoming RTS to console in a future. The gameplay would require to be revisited.

The lead designer of Starcraft 2 has told CVG that Blizzard may take the game to console in future.

Chris Sigaty said that the move wouldn't happen anytime soon - but it was something that the developer was interested in exploring.

    IF it does happen, Blizzard will probably try to make it cross-platform (360 users can play against PC users). That will be very interesting for us PC gamers.

    It would only be fun if everyone could play against everyone. No "only against people with the same kind of console" crap.

    But I would still play it on PC. That's where it truly belongs, in the end.

    Whoa. Well I've been recently getting into console RTS myself, StarCraft 2 would be a definite buy for me, regardless if I suck in RTS games.
