It's been what, three or four years since they announced Versus and they STILL haven't shown one ounce of gameplay to the public? They announced it waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy too early.

I imagine that a lot of what the trailer showed doesn't work into the story all that nicely anymore. Remember that awesome Deep Dive movie for Kingdom Hearts 2? When it actually happened in-game it wasn't all that special or interesting. I expect something similar to happen here.

And still incredibly nondescript information about Versus. What were they thinking announcing it so early? Hell, the only thing they had made at the time of its very first announcement was only a pre-rendered trailer. They only just solidified the game mechanics last October.

Do any of you tards realize that whether they announce it early or not, it's still going to come out when it's going to come out?

Just because you announce something early doesn't DELAY the release date.

Yes, but everyone won't be expecting the game if it isn't announced. You don't show your product and then make people wait 5 years before you even mention what it could possibly be about.

No, it doesn't, your right. But your also wrong. While it may not delay the release date, showing something that technically isn't even what the game may look like at an announcement does not work in my books. Your supposed to announce something when you actually have something DONE on the it, not when you have barely started the thing and only have something that will *hopefully* look like it will in three or four years down the road.

Take all the time you need, Nomura. Make it the best game it can possibly be. I understand
