ShogunGamer.com sits down with Klein Entertainment's CEO and founder Jamie Cheng to discuss Shank, the epic 2D action brawler. Set to appear on the PSN and XBLA next week, Shank is an action packed game and this new interview sheds some light on the project.

In this day and age it’s rare that we see 2D side-scrolling action games pop up. Sadly the genre that was once so popular in video games has become a niche of sorts on consoles or the go-to genre for web based games. But the genre is slowly making a comeback with Klei Entertainment’s action filled game Shank at the forefront.

Set to release next week on the PSN, XBLA and PC, I was able to talk to Jamie Cheng, the founder and CEO of Klei. Mr. Cheng was nice enough to spare some time out of his busy schedule to discuss what Shank is all about along with discussing indie games and the status of digitally distributed games.
