Hopefully, you’re aware by now that the 16-bit cult classic Splatterhouse has a full blown 3D remake due to come out next month. You may even know that the game has 2D side scrolling levels in it that pay homage to the original games. What you may not know is that the original three games will be included as unlockable content even though Namco originally wanted them to be paid DLC. In a part of our upcoming interview with producer Dan Tovar, he explains how he fought for years to keep the original games in, and why it was purely for the fans.
