"GamingUnion: "The somewhat contentious reimagining of the Syndicate IP spawned a multiplayer demo for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 on January 31st. Most of the groaning centered on the belief that the beloved corporate warfare simulator would be reduced to just one more retail title forcibly shoved into the first-person shooter mold in hopes of making a buck - or perhaps would be a poor-man's copy of Deus Ex, trying to capitalize on the cyberpunk/Metal Gear Solid mash-up of that title. The fond ..."

"Most of us have been guilty of putting in a little too much time on our favorite gaming titles, however, one Korean man took it a little too far after playing League of Legends for 23 hours. 23yr old Chen Rong-yu, arrived at a popular internet cafe at 10pm and paid to use the internet for 23 hours. Days ago it was announced that G4 and IGN host Jessica Chobot was secretly in the cast of Mass Effect 3 even while she was reporting on the game. "For people who actually play StarCraft, there are a lot of feature on offer that you may also like. For instance, if you are trying for a high APM (actions per minute in SC terms), the keyboard can be set so that as you progress in APM it will automatically change colour to whatever you set the different APM intervals at. Also, say if your base or units were under attack, you can set it so that at these times the keyboard will flash repeatedly as an alert to tell you something went tits up."

"It’s definitely not a genre that most gamers today will be too familiar with because you’d be hard pressed to find a roguelike in your local video game store. It’s not something the big developers of video games are focusing on either because you won’t find one amongst the Battlefields, Assassin Creeds and Bioshocks that populate the shelves.

Regardless of there lack of popularity, the roguelike genre is still going strong. While other genres of yesteryear have (sadly) withered away from p..."

Bad voice acting can sometimes ruin the experience, but these ten games overcome awful voice acting by somehow managing to still be good despite the terrible voice performances.

"Horror is a genre I never really explored in video games, but with the recent announcement of Resident Evil 6, I decided it would be rude not to talk about it. Most of my experience up until recent years was the terror of corrupted data, the fear I might somehow die before I reached the next save point and the concern that maybe, just maybe, I’d spent money on the wrong game and would have to spend the next few weeks exploring a terrible glitch-ridden world that bored me to tears. However, I ..."
