"Many froth-mouthed fans of Blizzard's intergalactic real-time strategy masterpiece Starcraft have anxiously been awaiting word on when the next installment of the series would land in their anticipatory laps. Blizz has been characteristically tight-lipped about the title's launch window, though we were recently informed that an online SKU search for Starcraft II on Best Buy, Circuit City, and Gamestop's web sites reveal the same supposed release date of December 3, 2008. With no confirmation ..."

Sporelebritarianism: David Lynch, Carlos Santana, Flight of the Conchords make creatures for charity
Okay, so Electronic Arts isn't all bad, because this idea is freaking awesome. The company got together a bunch of celebrities and asked them to create a creature using Spore's creature creator. The winner of the contest will see $15,000 going to the charity of their choice. Who's participating? Santana, Lynch, Stan Lee, the dudes from Flight of the Conchords, and a bunch of others. (If you aren't familiar with FotC by the way, I highly reccomend it.)

Ten Golden Rules of Videogame Fanboyism
"Ah, fanboys. What industry can truly call itself an industry without them? Those who prove themselves obsessively loyal to any product or corporation can be found among many communities, and nowhere do they flourish more freely than within gamer culture.

Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince : The Game announced!
This would not quite be a surprise to most people, but never the less, EA has announced the next Harry Potter game to coincide with the next movie's release. Designed by EA Bright Light Studios, they claim this game to be giving the most authentic experience of all Harry Potter games.
Now I'm a very big Harry Potter fan, but if I was a fan of the games, I sure am not now. The reason? The Goblet of Fire game was quite not upto the standard. Let's see if this can be much better, shall we?
