This is why when it comes to VALVE (Half-Life 2) and Bethesda (Fallout 3) games, the PC is my platform of choice - MODS! As console gamers will be left waiting for additional content for L4D on the consoles, us that have L4D on the PC have some great content to look forward to. Yes, the modders are already working on new maps, weapons and creatures for the game! Of all the maps being discussed right now, this one takes the cake. Oh you silly, silly console-only gamers. You have no idea what you’re missing out on when you shun the more expensive PC alternative. Sure, there’s more work involved: drivers to update, viruses to squash, custom resolutions, hardware compatibility concerns and, of course, the ever-alluring promise of porn just a few button-presses away. Get past all that and down to the hardcore game-playing, and you’ve got one thing that console gamers have yet to truly enjoy: mods.
