So if your sick of your Playstation 3 controller, the folks at Total Console have made an adapter that allows the use of an XBOX 360 wired controller.

I wonder if it works with a wireless controller with a play n charge attached, also do many new PS3 games use motion control anymore?
Too bad this costs almost as much as a new controller, if they could make it wireless and add motion sensors, then it might be worth it.
Seriously, this is WAYYYY OOOOLLLLDDD news!
This is old news folks (and failures), there are controller adapters available (and have been for YEARS) to convert console controllers for use on other consoles and PC. I myself have an adapter that allows me to use 2 PS2 controllers through one PC USB port - best PC gamepad ever. I also used adapters to replace the shitty Xbox controllers and use the PS2 Dualshock 2 controller. Even had vibration compatibility.
PS3 controller adapter's are favored among the community, especially given the wireless/vibration function, and ergonomic superiority.
But I would say it's more for the careless people who can't look after their stuff really.
Don't see how people can prefer uneven analog sticks, unless you've got one giant hand. (Wouldn't happen to be a robot hand, would it?)
Don't get me wrong, I love the PS3, but I don't like it's original controllers much at all. I much more prefer the 360 controller.
The back shoulder buttons on the PS3 controller are so fragile, IMO. I've broken 2 PS3 controllers because of the back shoulder buttons, and I've got another one where the buttons stick. And the buttons sticking are pissing me off to the point that I'm thinking of just breaking that one for fun.
Granted, I'm actually pretty strong, and I get very aggressive when I play some games, so I suppose it's not completely the controllers fault.
But I just love being able to press the shoulder buttons as hard as I can without fearing they'll break. I can do that with the 360 controller.
I prefer 360 controllers, PS controllers are easy to break. I have a 5 year old on the loose, anyway.
