This certainly isn't the first Xbox mod of this sort, but it is the most impressive; user Bandit5317 of the xbox-scene community has managed to shrink down the original Xbox to a 1'' thickness.

Particularly compared with its former self, it's really quite something; makes you wonder why Microsoft couldn't have trimmed the beast at least half as much at launch.

Dimensions:
23.5 x 21.65 x 2.5 cm

Some Specs:
320 GB 2.5" HDD
PW-200-V PSU
TSOP flashed with iND-BIOS
v1.4 motherboard

    I can't believe what I'm seeing. That...probably only has a disk slot. That's.....wow.

I would have loved to have one of those, instead of the ogre Xbox that scares small children.

impressive feat, but i see several problems/mysteries:

wheres the room for the disc drive?

only 2 controller ports = lame

that small of a case is gonna be more prone to heat buildup, even with 2 LED fans (which do nothing that normal fans dont do except look stupid BTW)

and where is the power unit? that took up a lot of room inside the Xbox case, and im pretty sure its not inside that tiny case.

The power unit is probably external, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was larger than the device itself.

Like blazeboy11 said, it's probably only that small because the power supply is contained outside the console.

I hope that Microsoft can do something like this with the 360.
