It seems those who brought misery to your Modern Warfare 2 PC playing experience have bridged their hacking skills to the consoles, allowing players to experience godmode, unlimited ammo, and several other unfair advantages.

"Previously I posted an article showing some new PC hacks that had surfaced allowing some really devastating power through online play. At the time the hacks were for the PC only. I had mentioned for console owners to expect the mods to reach them really soon. That time has finally come.

Expect to see these mods while playing online."

Damn, this is worse than all the previous glitches/mods combined. How the hell can one game be so easily exploited in so many different ways?

Every game has its glitches, many times it's not caught. This just happens to be one of the best selling games of all time; that and pretty much anything that can be hacked on a PC can be done on the 360 since it's just a step or two extra.

...MW1 didn't have this multitude of problems.

Well, MW2 is a MUCH more complex game than 1 in terms of options it gives to players. And with more complexities, there are more exploits.

MW2 really isn't that much more complex than MW1 at all and uses the same engine to run. IW just rushed things far too much and this is what happens.

Rushed things? Definitely. But giving the players options like which killstreaks and how various ones work, there's lots of opportunities for exploits and hacks.

Also, keep in mind that the hacking community on Xbox is much stronger today than it was 2 years ago.

Like Moonrise said, MW1 didn't have nearly this amount of exploits. The only one I remember was where people were jumping around really high, and that was pretty far into the game's lifespan. Every game has it's glitches and exploits, sure, but nothing to this extent or severity.

You could probably name any popular game, and none of them will have had this many severe problems in such a short amount of time.

To add onto that, It took ages to find the flaws in MW1's game code, over 2 years infact. But since the engine used in MW2 is almost exactly the same the modding programs used on MW1 could be used almost immediately onto the next game.

Smoke is right. It's like the difference between Windows and the Mac OS. It's not because Windows is so much less secure than Macs, it's that the percentage of people using Macs is so small and therefore hacking is so much less of a problem. No one cares about hacking macs.

Though at the same time Modern Warfare 2 didn't have a public beta like MW and WaW. Betas really help I mean to use the OS explaination. Windows 7 had one of the most indepth betas of all time, it ran for 4 years and covered over 60 builds until Microsoft had an OS so close to perfect many people can no longer complain there are little to no bugs, no glitches and no security holes it is flawless... Betas help and Infinity Ward shot themselves in the foot with their arrogance, they clearly thought MW2 was good enough not to need public help and it's now destroying them.

I still can't believe that there's a website like glitcher.net that's dedicated solely to spreading things like this. God, I hate the Internet.
