The Game Fallout 3 has now got some new Gameplay footage. Also including Demo's on the Game-Play.

It is said if one If one was to make a quick summation of Fallout 3 it would run along the lines of “a pumped up Oblivion in a toxic wasteland with a 1950's futuristic spin on everything.” That conjures up all sorts of different images but one thing it looks like Bethesda has done is remain faithful to the feel of the old Fallout games.

More info in Quote.

As part of our Fallout 3 coverage, TheGameReviews.com was lucky enough to sit down with Pete Hines of Bethesda Software while he showed us a walkthrough of the latest build of Fallout 3. While Pete was showing us the game, we thought it would be a good idea to ask when they will be showing off new gameplay footage of this amazing game. It has been a long time since the public saw Fallout 3 in motion, and it looks like you will have to wait a month or so more as Pete Hines explains.

“We have not really showed anybody anything new since E3,” explained Pete as he was showing us the game. “We are still working on it. It is still coming along.” He then went on to add, “once we get to E3 you know that will be like we will release game play, footage, we will let people do hands on stuff.”

“E3 will probably be us and a bunch of kiosks and like come on up, here you go. Oh yes, we are going to do hands on.” He later went on to say that the new gameplay footage could be part of the Microsoft, Sony or even both of their main stage presentations at this year’s E3.

For those of you that are dying to see more footage of this highly anticipated RPG from the creators of Oblivion, you will have to wait that little bit longer; however, we can assure you that it will be definitely be worth the wait, as from what we have seen, this could be game of the year. Make sure to check back very soon for our hands on preview that explains in full why everyone should play this game.

Epic Fail? This actually sounds pretty interesting, maybe it would be able to keep me playing for more than a week or two, unlike Oblivion.

I was failed to be capture by it, I liked it at first but then it got old, fast. Maybe the new settings and stuff will bring me back into this. All in all, I'm looking forward to this one.

There are very few similarities in the gameplay of Fallout 1/2 compared to Fallout 3 though.

Not to say this game won't be good -- but it's not going to be much like Fallout 1 or 2.

I can't wait for this game. I've never 'properly' played 1 and 2 (sat in on some sessions at a friend's house a few times), but I am a sucker for good sci-fi RPGs, and this legacy is one of the best. I've even recently read Carmack McCarthy's "The Road" to "get in the mood", since that book is supposed to be one of the major sources of inspiration for the developers. If the game manages to even fractionally capture that kind of atmosphere and marry it with enough solid gameplay, we'll definitely be in a for an interesting ride. As long as that's the case, I couldn't care less whether it is or isn't like Oblivion (or anything else for that matter).

I really hope they don't bugger this all up. But it still looks like Fallout, so perhaps it'll feel like it, too?

Either way, it looks great. I look forward to it.
