As a complement to the Wii version being released this summer, Wonder World Amusement Park will see a DS release this winter.

The game puts players a complete day at the park; using the touch screen you can "toss, drive, shoot, whack, fish and spin in more than two dozen mini-games throughout five themed zones." The mini-games allow players to access interactive rides and win tickets which can be exchanged for prizes or accessories. Also unlockable are several modes, games, secret characters, and zones. Wi-Fi will be supported, as well.

"Our internal team is very excited to be developing original Majesco IP for such a strong, marketable concept," said Bill Petro, Vice President of Internal Development and Studio Head for Majesco Studios Santa Monica. "Wonder World for DS is a perfect complement to the Wii version and includes additional features that take advantage of the Touch Screen play to maximize the portable fun."

No, there's a really shitty Wii game called 'Carnival Games'.

I really hope that it doesn't turn out like that...
