It seems that the Playstation 3 version of Red Alert 3 is currently in limbo, since a recent 'video walkthrough' of Red Alert 3 by EA mention Red Alert 3 coming to the XBOX360 and PC version, however a mention of a PS3 version was nowhere to be found.

The answer -- nowhere to be seen. In a recent walkthrough trailer for the game, EA mentions that Red Alert 3 is coming to the PC and Xbox 360, yet fails to mention a PS3 version. This leaves us rather worried. We'd always assumed that the title would come to Sony's black behemoth, but when contacted for information, EA's Red Alert 3 community Manager commented, “I can't speak of the PS3 version right now...”

I guess i'm going to have to buy this on the PC... Perhaps it is just too late to try an RTS on the PS3, the 360 has proved itself time and time again. The market is there, perhaps these games are costing too much for them to take a risk on a platform where there may be no market for this genre.

I can't recall Playstation EVER being known for RTS. Maybe it's a good things 360 keeps this.

Playstation 1 had a lot of the Command and Conquer games, i know it had Command and Conquer and Red Alert 1, the PS2 had a few but they weren't great, but the 360 has had more RTS games than the PS1 and PS2 combined.

The PS2 had Age of Empires 2, Commando 2 and Kessen. All 3 were excellent games and the controls worked very well.

Well, so far PS3 has EndWar, and 360 has C&C, Supreme Commander, RF3, Halo Wars, as well as EndWar.

The only Command and Conquer game I ever liked was Command and Conquer : Generals. That was a pretty good game. I didn't like Red Alert at all. (But then again, Red Alert 2 was pretty ancient, so this one could be better.)

You've got to be kiddin'. Generals was the worst of the whole franchise. Red Alert 2 was the best. Aftermath was cool too.
