In recent News, It seems the realistically shocking artwork of a destroyed Washington D.C has been used to illustrate terrorist agenda towards the U.S.A and Britain. The image was found on a Video located on two Websites and was believed to originate from the Al-qaeda group, the Terrorist search Group SITE at first claimed the artwork to have been created by the terrorists, but then were then suprised to find out that said image was actually Made by Bethesda Softworks, the Developers of Fallout 3 and not by Al-Qaeda at all.

The Telegraph reports that a video titled "Nuclear Jihad: The Ultimate Terror" appeared on two password-protected video sites, and is believed to have originated from the al-Qaeda terrorist group. Among the video was a picture of a devastated Washington DC, which the non-profit Search for International Terrorist Entities (SITE) Intelligence Group at first claimed was created by the terrorists to illustrate nuclear strikes in the United States and Britain. The group was surprised (and likely a bit embarrassed) to find out that the image was actually created by Bethesda Softworks for Fallout 3, and not al-Qaeda at all.

That's...kinda creepy. But it means the artists are doing a damn good job.

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but if something I drew started being used by terrorists to perpetuate their agenda, I'd be pretty *bleep*ing pissed off.

Well, I'm sure that's how the artists think. Bethesda is getting publicity from this, though I'm not sure it's entirely the kind they want.

Terrorists need to take their stuff from video games now? Don't they have art class in their countries?

Pretty good image, if nothing else

    And LOL.

BTW: Is Bethesda Softworks an American (or British) company? If so, LOL at the group for using the images made by a company from one of the countries they hate >_>

They probably arent happy, but what do they expect? We are in the middle of an ongoing conflict with terrorism, publishing pictures of such high quality of a ruined symbol of America is bound to stir its enemies.

If the company is suprised then im suprised by their idiocy.

so where exactly are we battling terrorism i thought we invaded a sovereign nation (Iraq) and made up a story about weapons of mass destruction. Years later no weapons of mass destruction and oil fields seized. maybe you should be surprised at your own idiocy.
DO yourself a favor and look up building seven. Do some research.

Terrorism is around, not just Iraq. And FYI the WOMD wasn't in Iraq as we thought, it was moved to somewhere else.

I suggest you do some research before telling someone else to.

The weapons never existed -- they weren't moved anywhere. The administration pretended they existed to encourage support for the illegal invasion. But don't trust me -- spend about 3 mins with Google.

ok so if it was moved why are we still there? why not go where it is and fight the terrorism in other places in the world?

"The group was surprised (and likely a bit embarrassed) to find out that the image was actually created by Bethesda Softworks for Fallout 3, and not al-Qaeda at all."
