Resident Evil 5 Playtime Revealed

With the game progressing well, the producer of the game, Jun Takeuchi has told joystiq that with the game complete about 60% it looks to be just over 20 hours in length.

Like all thinking people, we're anxiously awaiting the release of Resident Evil 5, if only to learn more of the back story of coat-opening shop guy. Though we don't know when we'll finally get our hands on it, after last week's Captivate 08, we at least know that things are progressing.

        Actually I've not played a single PS3 game based on a movie.The last game I played based on a movie was X-Men 3.I haven't played one since lol.

        Actually scratch that, I've played Spider-Man 3.

      RE4 took you 5 hours to beat? RE4 was pretty long imo.

      Glad to hear RE5 is also as long or even longer perhaps. Can't wait!

        Haha, no. Well it depended in how long it takes for you to clean them out..then again RE4 is child's play for me. I'm VERY skeptical about this anyways.

          RE4 wasn't a very long game. 5 hours might be a bit of an exaggeration, but my first playthrough was around 9-11 hours. It definitely felt alot shorter than previous RE games.
