Turns out the only real reason Street Fighter IV hasn't been planned for the Wii is because Capcom feels fighting game fans don't really own Nintendo's console, which is kind of ironic really, considering Street Fighter really became famous through Nintendo.

So what do you say to that? Make a poll!

"It's not that a Wii version would be impossible," [said producer Yoshinori Ono]. "And we're not ruling anything out, but looking at the main target we're trying to hit with this game, users are more likely, from where we're sitting, to own a PS3 or 360 than a Wii. Are there fighting game fans who own the Wii, especially in north America? If there are, we're more than willing to do something for them. But it seems like a safer bet to go with the PS3 and 360, and the PC is more a European-centric thing, so we don't want to leave regions there out."

With those graphics? It's very possible to have it hit the Wii. How cool would it be to imitate 'hadouken?'

Yeah, or how about the Hurricane Kick? =P

But its very possible for it to be on the Wii. Personally, I hope the Wii gets it. They need more fighting games on their console.

Haha, attach the remote to your leg.

Are there actually good fighting games on the Wii? I mean like, Soul Calibur quality stuff. I cant think of any. It definitely needs one, and I have no idea why there isnt already. Kids like to beat each other up more than most people.

The Nintendo Wii is more of a "Family" console, so I can see why they haven't really thought about making Street Fighter for it. That having been said though, I also think it would make quite an entertaining game. If they are thinking about putting it on the Wii, I think they should.

Really now Capcom? Are you *bleeping* kidding me?! There have been 4 iterations of Street Fighter II on the Virtual Console, so please do the *bleeping* math Mr. Ono.

And they can't give us the same bullshit about the controller not being suited for fighting games. It's for games like these where the CLASSIC CONTROLLER comes in handy.

Well since the game is looking to be a flop due to shitty characters and how the graphics look, by all means and put it on the Wii.

    [/sarcasm]

But some of the characters are bad though.
