There won't be any multiplayer mode for the game Dark Void, made by Capcom and announced by Kraig Kujawa. They looked at multiplayer modes, but they decided they wanted to make the single player version a lot better.

The game won't be out for another year.

There's no multiplayer mode planned for Capcom's Dark Void, director of design Kraig Kujawa has confirmed.

"We explored it, but there are so many huge features in this game, we really wanted to focus on making the most kick-ass, single-player features possible," Kujawa told Joystiq.

And when Kujawa said the team 'explored it,' he meant the team actually built a multiplayer mode. "We had multiplayer up and going," said designer Jose Perez.

"It was fun, and to be honest, we just could tell we weren't going to be able to make the multiplayer game the way we wanted and the single-player game the way we wanted, so it was a really hard decision."

Unfortunately, Capcom has also confirmed that you're going to have to wait a year to see the game on shelves.
