The GTA IV downloadable content set to be released 2008's fourth quarter has been delayed. These mission packs for the 360 will now come out somewhere in early 2009. Take Two has attributed this change to better balance the release schedule
Those waiting for more Grand Theft Auto IV content will have to wait a little bit longer. According to Take-Two's Fiscal Q3 2008 report, the first batch of GTA IV downloadable content will be coming in Q1 of fiscal 2009, instead of the originally planned Q4 of fiscal 2008. In real calendar terms, that means the DLC, which is rumored to include whole new cities, is due between November 1, 2008, and January 31, 2009.
The reason behind the delay, according to Take-Two, was to "provide a better balance in Take-Two's release schedule." The statement specifically mentioned Xbox 360, with no talk of content for the PS3.

Of course, I can't afford any of the systems anyway, so my hypothesis could be wrong.
-Your original assumption = "they would not be releasing something the size Vice City/San Andreas"
-This "delay" would make sense, given your original assumption. \
If it couldn't be released is such a short time, then they could be delaying it because it IS the size of VC/SA, which would do only to disprove what you believe.
Enter my post. I think you're the one confused with what you said. Or not you're understanding what I said.
Go die please.
That's fine by me. Got enough games to keep busy with this year.
It'll happen with any game that's overly hyped thanks to rabid fans, or ones that are highly anticipated, iLL. It sucks...vicious cycle.
It was a joke to the fans bitching how disappointed they were with the game. And alot I've seen here actually said im not going to be play the game again. Don't know whether they were 360 users or not, still backs up my point.
If this is a case, and I did misinterpret what you were saying, I apologize.
