How To Make Your Own Playstation Theme

    meh ii figured out how to make themes when they came out.

      Personally I've wanted to create them but it just looked quite complicated, fortunately this simplifies things quite a bit.

        There not really. once you get the hang of things, its quite easy. If your gonna go and try and your not sure if it will work. Just edit one icon instead of wasting time editing all the icons. Such as the music icon etc. Then test it out to see if your changes worked and if they did, well you figured out how to make themes

    It's a pretty basic process, really. You just make the images and put them in the p3t compiler and it does the work for you. At least, that's what it's supposed to do.

    Yeah, even though it's basic and everything, some people can be daunted by the mere thought of seeing even one line of code. I deal with coding all the time, yet there are still times I feel overwhelmed by a single easy line of code, and have to remind myself it's no big deal.

    This reminds me I need to come up with some good PS3 themes!

    The likely hood of me putting a cover over my PS3 is slim to none really.

      Ummmm, this isn't that sort of theme.....Not decals or system covers, but XMB designs (changes icons, and background(s).....

    In my case, I made on theme ages ago (a short while after it came out), and that was it.....Took a LONG time (relativey speaing) to finish. Never mind that the computer I was using was old, it is just time consuming...

    Wasted time on the wallpaper. I discarded like, most of the extra crap I did >_>

    There is (dunno if it is mentioned in the article) a PS3 theme creator which basically just has you stick the appropriate sized icons files in the appropriately titled part they belong to.
