NIS America Shows Some DS Love

Magimaster | June 07, 2008 | News | DS
NIS America revealed its upcoming lineup of games for the DS. After revealing the Disgaea DS trailer yesterday, the company has officially announced the games set to grace the DS. These games include A Witch's Tale, Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure, and Puchi Puchi Virus along with Disgaea DS. Although no release dates have been given so far, DS fans can look forward to the slew of games heading their way.
Last night NIS America, the North American arm of Japanese developer/publisher Nippon Ichi, held an event in San Francisco to showcase its upcoming Nintendo DS games. The company has traditionally been a PlayStation supporter, but President Haru Akenaga explained that the success of other platforms convinced him to branch out.

NIS has four DS games on the way, and we have previews, videos, and screens of each. Check it all out below:

Yeah, I think it's amazing for developers, such as Nippon Ichi, to support the DS so strongly. Though most of the time the developers are just trying to hop on the DS bandwagon and get a free ride to success.
