Despite winning 2 Guinness Awards and help aiding the UK's economy for the month of April It didn't really boost Console sales. It did boost Software sales alot, but didn't exactly push meaningful increment of console sales for 360 and PS3 according to analyst Colin Sebastian.

Makes you wonder what was the cause of this, you would think getting these types of awards was going to move some meaningful sales.

A quote from the source would've been seriously useful.

I didn't want to quote from the source since there wouldn't be much left after I had quoted it. Besides your supposed to read the source anyway.

That's the most *bleep*ed reason I've ever heard. You put a quote from the source to make things easier. News Articles aren't meant to be your personal blogs; you report the news, add a quote, and that's it. Who cares if there wouldn't be much left for you to post afterwards? That's how it's supposed to be.

Thats not how I was told by Enhance. The point is to give people a little taste of the source while readers are supposed to go on the source to read the rest. Since there wouldn't be much point if I did it that way, I just left it blank for you to read. I gave my summary on the article, and its your job to read the source. Plenty of people have done what I've done before. Its nothing new.

Final Blade, how many times were you dropped on your head as a child?

Don read my post, this is how I was told to do the articles.
Don, Moonrise, submit your articles since you seem to know how to do it.

I find that hard to believe considering almost every legitimate article I've seen actually contains quotes from the source. GG, seriously.

Also, I don't have any articles to submit.

It would be better if the title was a bit clearer. This is another of Patcher's predictions, not based on actual numerical figures. Those won't be out until the end of the week.

The title is clear though, and its pretty apparent that GTA4 didn't sell a sufficient amount of consoles for either system as everyone thought.

Alot of people say it, but without the actual NPD, which doesn't come out until Thursday, there's no true confirmation. I have to agree with bbb, this is still a prediction.

I don't see why a multiplatform title would sell consoles, especially when...correct me if I'm wrong, there was no GTAIV bundle pack?

There were GTA bundle packs on both consoles, at least in the UK it was advertised so.

You would think it would have helped, but most people already had a PS3 or Xbox 360 by then, and they weren't going to buy a different console to play a game that they could play on their existing console.
