E3 2008 is taking place in July, and most people are watching Sony, Nintendo, an Microsoft to see if they'll announce any new big games. And there are rumors that Nintendo will announce a brand new (much awaited) franchise that would shock gamers considerably.
With the now scaled-down E3 event set to take place next month, all eyes are firmly focused on each of the big three companies to see what special treats they will be bringing to the table. Rumours are pointing towards Nintendo bringing out an all-new franchise that will shock gamers considerably.
Previously it had been touched up by Nintendo of Americas president Reginald Fils-Aime that something big was coming at this years E3 media event, stating to Geoff Keighley of GameTrailers back in March that, What we announce during E3 is gonna be fantastic. Theres gonna be a big game for the holiday that the gamers (and expanded audience) will want. But what exactly could this be? When asked about when Wii Music, Fils-Aime said it could well turn up as the American arm of the company had just been over in Japan taking a look at an updated version of the project. However, when asked if Donkey Kong would be back, he just avoided answering, saying he did not want to go there. But that is all old news.

And ridge race isnt developed by nintendo.
Ridge Racer 64 was developed by Nintendo and Namco. So yes, RR64 was developed by Nintendo.
As for Fire Emblem, it's developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo. But I'm sure Nintendo helps I.S. with the development process, so I guess you can add it to the list.
You heard it here first folks.

It might be a new 3-D free roam game or whatever. But if it uses an old character, then it's not a new franchise.
"We're taking Nintendo to dangerous new levels!"
let's just hope something amazing is born
