Looking to beta test Capcom's upcoming Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix? Great! Just make sure you have an Xbox 360, because the beta is only open to owners of that system.

To get access to the beta, you have to purchase a copy of Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 from Xbox Live Arcade. Then, on June 25, Capcom will open the floodgates and grant you the enviable task of doing their bug testing for them.

Its one thing releasing a game on one system, but I would think Capcom would want to beta test something like Street Fighter on both the 360 and the PS3 because of the differing networks. They're stressing the ping so much when Street Fighter IV comes home, but is this not the same thing? Or do they just not care?

I think lots of it resides on Microsoft these days, they take public beta tests as massive exclusive demo's if they can get some of the more wanted games in beta form, thats like a big *bleep* you to the opposition.

Well then in my opinion, Capcom shouldn't allow it. Its their game and its their obligation to ensure a level playing experience for every medium.
