With the new wave of DLC for Guitar Hero 3 comes a pack of songs by Coldplay. It will include "God Put a Smile Upon Your Face", "Yellow", and from their new upcoming pack "Violet Hill". Hopefully they will be good, following the mass of DLC we've seen lately *glares at No Doubt*

Coldplay are set to release a three song pack on Guitar Hero III next week

The Coldplay track pack will be available on June 19, 2008 for download on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Xbox 360 from Microsoft and in the PLAYSTATION Store for the PLAYSTATION 3

They're talented but it's useless when it's insincere, which I think they are. Depressing.

One of my favourite Peep Show quotes is about Coldplay.

"People like Coldplay and voted for the Nazis. You can't trust people."

I listened to some of their music, not my cup of tea. Who knows, maybe the songs can be good for a note chart, who knows. I'm just happy to see GH3 get some steady DLC support.

I don't mind Coldplay, and I like the songs Violet Hill and Viva La Vida from their new album. But to be honest, I don't think they suit being on Guitar Hero.

I think that after a few more Guitar Hero games, Guitar Hero's time will be up and it will get old.
