Gamers vote Wii Fit 'greater' than Metal Gear, Final Fantasy in top 100 poll

This is bound to be a controversial one amongst many harderned gamers, but in a poll of 100,000 people contucted by UK retailer GAME, Wii Fit placed in at 29th, above the likes of Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid.

UK retailer GAME has recently revealed the results of a poll it conducted to discover what players deemed the greatest 100 videogames of all time.

Top of the tree was Call of Duty 4, closely followed by The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Wii Fit, meanwhile, hopped into 29th position, ahead of the likes of Metal Gear Solid, Mario Kart 64, and Final Fantasy - not bad for a title that was released just a matter of weeks ago.

    Wonderful...a game that isn't even barely a game but more like a gimmick of sorts beats some of the best games ever. Can we please just stop counting Wii Fit as a game? Please!?

    More of those gamers are probably just people who have Wii Fit and are kids or old people. A new game that released about a month ago is already better then Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid, which have each sold over a zillion games? Blasphemy.

    No Gamer in their right *bleep*ing mind would say Wii Fit is better than FF and MGS. Wii Fit shouldn't even be considered a game. Those must be 100,000 of the most Down Sydrome Ridden gamers ever born.

    I bet the people who said that were payed off with MGS4 and FF Games. Maybe not. If they weren't, they're stupid.

    Seriously people, LEGO Indiana Jones is more if a game than Wii Fit. The people who took part in this poll the most were obviously either casual gamers or extreme Nintendo fanboys.

    Looks to me like many of the results came from the more casual people who don't really play games too often.

    Glad to see that Ocarina of Time is still up there and shining, like it should be.

      I'm Really REALLY surprised at that... I don't belive it... FF and MGS are 2 of the best games I have played.
