Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing
8 hours 41 mins ago
With just a little injginuity and some Electrical Engineering knowledge, some hackers have created Wii-Friendly hardwired SNES, NES, and N64 Controllers. This will take those who actually buy VC games back to that old nostalgic time even more.
I for one am going to try this, just because I love projects of this nature.
The RetroUSB NES/SNES controller adapters enable gamers to easily attain a more genuine Virtual Console experience through the ability to use original controllers. Some hackers have gone even further, building custom circuitry into old equipment. Custom Nintendo themselves have contributed the Super Famicom Classic Controller to the cause of authentic retrogaming.
Raphnet's projects include not only adapters and fully-modded SNES and NES controllers, but also N64 solutions. Raphaël Assénat has documented the process of hacking custom controllers with custom circuit boards to allow them to work as Gamecube Controllers, and also sells adapters that let you plug N64 controllers directly into the Wii. People seem to like that controller for some reason.

I'm very surprised they haven't yet. Nintendo is usually great about reworking their old products for "new" releases.
Saves them plenty of money in R&D.
but that site didnt have N64 port..just NES,SNES and SEGA GENESIS ( which = Atari 2600 and Colecovision )
i wanna buy this...but nintendo should just re-release the N64 and Gamecube and SNES controller but Wirlessly, there is a video on how to make all these wireless but they cost around $30 to mod and i dont feel lucky modding nintendo stuff...mabey Sony or Micro...but not the company i grew up with.
I'd get the N64 one. The Virtual Console controller thing is shittastic in recreating the feeling of N64.
FTW - Now known as For The Wii! :S
And what's the point of having a NES controller? The Wiimote turned on its side is a NES controller.
